There's a lot of debate swirling around about how God saves us, and usually, people reference salvation either past, present, or future, and take a strong stance on whether they can keep it or they lose it.

Peter's Epistle will help us to settle on a both/and view of salvation, and understand that God is the Lord of our salvation in every way.
